At this festival, you’ll find the most celebrated meat dishes, including fusion snail cuisine – popular in the indigenous, Hakka, Korean communities and many others. Chinese medicine of all sorts, such as ginseng, is added for strength enhancement. Autumn is the time to enjoy hop soup over a fire with family and friends. We’ve especially present to you the famous indigenous meat dishes prepared by the Amis by the sea, Dulan and in the valley, Chishang. You can also savor Lukai’s unique blood sausages and the fusion snail dish. When we talk about meat in Taitung, we mean business.

Paiwan slow food shops will share their must-know knowledge in preparing snails before cooking. The once most popular lunch-box shop, Yousheng, in the 1970s also will be at the festival to provide their delicious lunch boxes one more time for both the young and the old generations in Taitung.
